Here is my desk this week showing off it's more casual side.......
I have simply been playing with scraps and offcuts to make a few birthday cards
For those of you concerned about the body parts last week, here is a sneaky peek of one complete body!

Cards for all occasions
Such fun making this set of mini cards in a presentation box. Gelli prints were used along with die cuts and embellishments. Now if I had thought of this earlier, guess what everyone would have got for Christmas!!

Candy Canes
I saw this on Pinterest and just had to make one!
Candy Canes are attached around the outside of a jar (foam tape is good for this), there is a tea light inside. Go on, you know you want to!!

A flat Robin...
I made a batch of flat Snowman cards, where it seems as though you are looking down from above, so I thought I would try a bird the same way!

Shepherd Cards
I love the simplicity of these cards, great when you are making lots. The background was printed with Distress Inks which was splodged on using a strip of masking tape to transfer the ink. The silhouettes were cut out on my Cameo machine.

Gelli Prints or a quilt?
I just had to share a few of my favourite Gelli Prints. Don't they just look like you could sew them together and make a quilt? Now there's an idea!!

CHRISTMAS.... See I am going to shout it now that it is almost December and a reasonable time to consider that It will arrive soon. No decorating outside my house with every flashing or inflatable creature known to man at the beginning of November!!
Ok rant over....I have been making many of my gifts this year so still not much to show....
These cards were the result of a Gelli Plate day (see previous post). I am so pleased with the subtle colours...people will think I am a real artist!!
If you want to see the desks of all my fellow makers, hop over to Stamping Ground and take yourself on a journey around the world.

Autumn Leaves
It is all about the leaves in this Autumn Layout. They are all cut from different textured papers and layered around the photograph to create a woodland frame.

Sheepish.....
A page showing my Grandson feeding the animals on one of the many visits to the farm. With lots of fussy cutting from two sheets of scrapbook paper, every scrap was used and no other embellishments were needed.

As I am still busy working on making Christmas Gifts (and better not share the images here just yet), I am sharing some of the pages from my Scrapbook Albums. My Grandson had some lovely studio photographs done with his favourite Toy Story toys. Here is one of the pages I made.

Felt and a Pencil Roll
I made this felt sample many years ago and it has moved around the house ever since with no real purpose. So I decided to stitch pockets into it a turn it into a safe place to keep my special pens.
