What's on your workdesk Wednesday? 260

Well desk buddies you will be pleased to see a mess on my desk today as I fiddle about with a little card making and generally open a lot of boxes!

Had to pack away again though....work calls....no more crafting until the weekend

and if you remember the napkins from last week, I collaged them onto some patterned papers to make a pretty collection of cards. I am just not sure what else to add, colour, sentiment, sparkle? What do you think?

Apologies but I will not be taking part in the A.T.C swop as I simply do not have enough time. I look forward to seeing all the lovely designs. For more about the swop and more desks to see pop over to Stamping Ground to find out more.

Just sympathy!

Sympathy cards are hard to create, this layout and colour scheme would work well for many situations.

Whats on your workdesk Wednesday? 259

Here we are again on our weekly desk hop hosted by Julia at Stamping Ground. I have been away from my desk for a few weeks seeking a larger space for my sewing, but I am back paper crafting this week.

I have been making a "guest book" for the wedding, but cannot show you yet.

On my desk you can see the laptop as I am using my Cameo to cut. While I am waiting for the cuts (it likes to take it's time) I am putting together a card using die cuts, flowers and bits from my jars. I like to have lots of bits cut out for crafting on the go!

Do you spy the pretty pack of napkins at the back....I just had to have them!

A busy scrapbook paper here decorated with cakes, so I had to use it for this page with a simple cupcake embellishment.

What's on your workdesk Wednesday? 258

Not much activity today as I am still working at the table with my sewing machine, but I have had a good tidy so I thought I would show off! I used some floral fabric to make some curtains longer to fit the patio doors and with the spare fabric I made a cover for my Cameo and a new runner for the merchants chest.

Curtain view.....

Here are two of my canvasses which I think would fit in well, I just need to find some wall space!

Have a brilliant creative week.......if you wants to see more workspaces and tons of inspiration head over to Stamping Ground where we all show and tell.

Wedding Album 2 -page 14

One of the biggest challenges of a Wedding Album is putting together group and family shots which have different colours and themes. For this double page I cut a large tree and split it between the pages. If you look closely you will see the word family on the side of the trunk.

What's on your workdesk Wednesday? 257

Still away from my desk and sewing this week making Retro Aprons.

My new favourite foot is this edge stitch foot, It enables me to run the metal guide along the edge of the fabric and make lovely neat topstitching. Why have I never used this foot before?!

Here is one of the aprons lovingly staged for a photo shoot in the garden.....

That's all from me but do take a visit to Stamping Ground where you can visit many more workspaces filled with lovely creations.
