What's on your workdesk Wednesday? 214

There has no been much activity this week, busy trying to catch up with other stuff and enjoying the sunshine.

Here is a picture of a little playtime yesterday in my journal with some gelli prints and Paper Artsy stamps.

I am lucky enough to sit right by the garden door so there is plenty of light and I still feel like I am enjoying the sun!

Here is the resulting journal page, no plan on the design, just playing.....

So if you were wondering what WOYWW is all about pop over to Stamping Ground and prepare to visit over 100 desks from around the world.

Poppy Paper and a Birdie

I love this card created simply with a poppy background paper and some vintage cut outs.

All sorts of everything

This journal page started out as a way deal with some stress and anxiety, so as I often do I just wrote a page full of words and painted over the top. I added some collage cuttings from magazines, inking, stencilling and stamping.

So if you haven't tried this as a way to combat stress it is really worth having a go!

Watch the birdie....

A random collection of collage papers which were lurking on my desk became the background for this page. I took my inspiration from these scraps and extended the designs. Of course there had to be some birdies somewhere, I cut these from Gelli Print papers.

Simples!

I love this card design and it was one of the simplest to do, letting the printed paper do all the work, with the addition of some die cut butterflies and a punched border.

What's on your workdesk Wednesday? 213

It is time again to take a trip around the world and view the creative spaces of some very talented people. Pop along to Stamping Ground where you will find links to over 100 blogs, go on take a journey!

It has been another busy week and much of the creative stuff has been on hold, so here is my desk this week.

I have been doing some drawing, so you can see my sketchbook and drawing materials. The punches are out as I was making some paper roses and dipping them in UTEE in the melt pot. I still have some work to do on these as they were a little too thickly glazed.

I did mention last week I had a trip to London planned so here are a few teasers for you......

Afternoon Tea in Mayfair

The view from the Cable Car as we came in to land at the 02

And finally...the Buble himself!

We do not own the earth...

I love this card and the sentiment from Indigo Blue rubber stamps. Distress ink blending and an acetate butterfly.....
