Silhouette Cameo

I am so excited to have a shiny new toy to play with, a Cameo cutting machine. I am able to design on the computer or import my artwork and get the machine to cut it all out.

Here is a basic card from the image library while I get to grips with the design program!

Glass Bunting....

Finally a chance to share with you a picture of my glass bunting produced on a workshop with Helen Rose Glass. It was certainly a nerve wracking experience cutting all the bits of glass but several cut fingers later I had the hang of it! All the coloured parts of the design were hand cut and fused to the clear glass by firing in the kiln.

Coiled Pot....

 A coiled pot made from torn fabric strips wrapped around a wadding core. I think I need to make a snake to charm from this pot!

Decoupage Christmas

It is far too soon for me to make Christmas Cards but I found this decoupage sheet hidden in the drawer so thought I would have a go.

Blanket Cushion

A cute little cushion made from some dyed wool blanket with applique flowers.

It is actually quite scary now how another week has gone and I didn't even get the chance to visit anybody!

Well here is my desk this week in all it's glory......

I have a little sewing project on the go to make a pin cushion out of some dyed blanket and some die cut blanket flowers.

Here is the finished project.....

 

It looks a little like a pork pie, I know!
