Through the window

 

This card was made using a window die by Memory Box, I love the simplicity of using dies cuts to create a design. I mostly cut out the shapes in white cardstock and colour with markers when I know what I need.

 

 

A Rose for a Rose

Sharing a stitched  Rose design on a lace background. Colour was added by cutting petal shapes from sheer fabrics and applying to the design. Couching and Cretan Stitch complete the embroidery.

Sharing today a page from my sketch book, I went on to develop this design into a large canvas.

What's on your workdesk Wednesday? 210

This week I am showing a messy desk as I have had so many comments on my tidiness, I thought you might like to see the dark side!

I was covering some round boxes which I am going to use as staging for a display, but I wanted them to have a more Shabby Chic look.

 

I also made some 'trees', they are going to be covered with sweets as a treat for the children!

 

 

I had some lovely suggestions for what to do with my printers tray, I am now well away with the design. I can't wait to finish it and share.

More lanterns......

I made a few lantern decorations, there was a great template on Craft Artist so I digitally filled it with the backing papers, printed and assembled. I think they worked out very well.

A card for Father's Day

A card I made today ready for Father's Day. I used a Gelli print background and added a map detail rub on. Some chipboard letters and a little stamping completed the design.

Baby Bunting

I just love making baby bunting out of Washi Tape and thread! 1p for scale.
