After much deliberation I have decided to temporarily suspend my blog and focus  more on my Facebook pages.

I think Facebook offers an opportunity for more interactive posts and real time information.

I hope you will follow me at Frayed Round the Edges and 02 Textiles, the links are below

Blue Bird

For Christmas I has a 3d pen as a present. It works in a similar way to a glue gun but easier to control. It uses the same filament as a 3d printer.
Here is my first 3d model
I am hoping I will be able to use the filament in conjunction with my textile work at a later date.

Ava's Book

This is a project that has kept me busy for a few weeks now but I have had so much fun with it. There are a few pages so I will share over a couple of posts.
The pages are made of calico with felt applique and are all interactive.

Inside the chickens nest there are removable eggs

The apples come off the tree and the biscuits have different numbers of currants to count

Inside the oven is a gingerbread man!

A pretty red tunic

A pretty red jumper which was knitted in the round with 4 ply yarn. This one was a bit of a struggle as I prefer to crochet!
