Here we are on this weeks blog hop where we let everyone see the chaos on our workdesks. This weekly event is hosted by Julia at Stamping Ground. So if you follow the link you can visit many other desks as messy as mine!
So I was actually absent from last weeks hop as we had a new arrival in the family.......
so cuddles with Freya took place of any work.......
so here is my desk, I am in the middle of sewing some trousers.
and I have been carrying on with my embroidery as the date for the exhibition is fast approaching!
look forward to visiting all the blogs this evening :-)
Oh what a cute little girl! Congratulions!!! I can imagine you want to make little dresses now. I love the embroidery. Happy woyww and a warm(!) hug from Holland, Marit #21
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the beautiful new addition to your family, she's gorgeous! I like the little outfits you're making for her - I like making baby stuff as it's small and usually not too fiddly (unless you're doing smocking or something!) I had a look at your website too, wow, you're a busy lady - It's a shame that I'm so far away as the Denim picture workshop looks very interesting indeed! Maybe next year......

ReplyDeleteJust to answer your question. Yes I do hide my pebbles, when I get chance to finish them Lol! xXx
DeleteI did do that for s while and it’s quite addictive. Did feel a bit strange lurking about hiding them!
DeleteHi Karen. What a sweetie! She's lovely - congrats to your family. Your embroidery pieces are great - well done. Hope you got the dresses and shorts made. Are they for Dress a girl around the world by any chance?? The mission supported through our church has jut received dresses and shorts from the local group - and have been VERY gratefully received out there in Uganda.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Unfortunately not, I have four grandchildren to make clothes for.
DeleteCongratuations on the new arrival - she is adorable! What fun you will have, making pretty things for her. I love what you've done already. Thank you for your visit - actually my kitchen isn't too hot in the mornings - it's only later when the sun comes round, but it was pretty hot, even so! I was glad to relax in the garden over lunch with my hubby (the fruits of this morning's labours!) and then what seemed like endless washing up this p.m. and a very greasy hob to clean!! A good feeling when it was all done.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,
