What's on your Workdesk Wednesday? 253

Ok I confess last Wednesday completely passed me by! Here is my desk this week.............
Not very much activity but I have been busy Hunter Gatherer style acquiring new stuff. You can see some fabric ready to make Kindle cases and a naughty purchase of some project life cards.

In the foreground is my knitting and this is where all my time is going. It is a lovely lace shrug (pattern in Craftseller April edition). So far it is going well and all the holes are in the right place!

So if you would like to see more desks and what my creative friends are up to pop over to
Stamping Ground where you can find all the details.

  1. So pretty. A few lovely yarn projects this week - always tempted away from paper and ink and paint to fabric and yarn and needles/hooks when I see them but it kinds has to be all or nothing cause inky fingers and soft pale yarn or fabric most def. DO NOT MIX! :D

    Happy WOYWW!

  2. Lovely knitting project. I've been crocheting for so many years that I could not get the gist of using two needles. Here from WOYWDW , Happy Wednesday!

I used to knit and crochet but haven't done so for years but I do want to retry this Dry season (winter). Is that a make a bunny nag pattern at the back? That looks awesome too....aaaarrrggg so many things to do and not enough time LOL

  20. Your desk is lovely, Karen. I love your beautiful storage thingies almost out of shot at the top of the picture, with all the pretty flowers on them, and the fabby wooden storage shelves on the desk, esp. the Distress Ink rack. I need to organise my DIs better! They're all in a box at the moment. As for your knitting, it's just gorgeous - I can knit in lots of different colours, but give me a lacy pattern and I go wrong almost immediately because I can't see what I've done, and the result looks as if the moths have got at it! Lacy knitting is very, very difficult in my opinion! Lots of interesting things going on on your desk.

Thanks for your visit and your nice comment about my new sewing machine - yes, there are rather a lot of fancy stitches, aren't there! It will take me all my time to explore them all, and in the meantime I have to learn how to thread the machine!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
