Still looking back at previous work and to keep you going while I work on top secret stuff!

Meet Birdie, Cath , Chardonnay and Daisy, paper collage art work which were the starting point for some stitched work. Looking at them now I think I should develop these further, perhaps making 3d versions of them. Watch this space....

I made this on a workshop with Mark Gould. Follow the link and see if you can spot it on his blog. I had a lovely day experimenting with layering paints and mediums. It was a million miles away from my usual colour palette but I love it!

Butterfly Bird!

 

 

I have been having a trip down memory lane recently and looking at photographs of the things I have made over the years. I was quite amazed at how much there was and It is interesting to see where more recent work evolved from. This was one of my first textile birds made in 2012 and entered into a competition hosted by Indigo Blue. I then went on to make more detailed Steampunk birds which you can see in this blog post
