What's on your workdesk Wednesday 474

It's Wednesday again and another chance to blog hop and snoop at everyone's workspaces. WOYWW is hosted by Julia at Stamping Ground.

I am not sure my desk looks much different to last week really although I did do some work on Saturday which you can see in the previous post.

So what can you see?

My lovely Inktense pencils and blocks which you can colour nearly everything with and are great to carry to workshops. I was using them to colour some fabric feathers with, they are lurking in a pot at the back. I am not happy with them yet so they are on the naughty step!

The paints at the back are by Vintage Rocks and I am slowly collecting them, they are chalk furniture paints but seem to be adaptable for many more projects.

There is a pile of embroidery patches to sew on the right and lots of fabric scraps on the left. I am doing some work for a textile exhibition later in the year at RHS Hyde Hall in Essex. I have loads still to do!!
Do pop over to my website if you have time, the link is here.

Have a great day everyone

  1. I've heard nothing but good things about those inktense pencils. And I am curious about your fabrics and the textile exhibition. But I must ask. Do you think you have enough scissors? Happy WOYWW from #1.

  3. I used that chalked paint in my art journal and yes, it's good to use on paper too! I'm curious to see more of the embroidered fabric patches as I was 'into textiles' too last weeks working on my son's birthday present (an altered jacket.) Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Happy woyww and a big hug from Holland! Marit #22
